The location is perfect! Just a short walk brings you to Myeongdong's bustling shopping streets and delicious food markets. My room was cozy and extremely clean, allowing just enough space for my suitcase and shopping bags. I really appreciated the windows that opened for fresh air—it made a difference. Overall, it was a very pleasant place for a solo traveler like me who wanted to explore the nearby attractions like the Namsangol Hanok Village.

was hoping for a luxe experience, but the shower was a literal flood zone. oh, and the absolute lack of privacy—heard every knock and doorbell like it was in my room. would have appreciated a free upgrade for all this inconveniance but was treated like everyone else. disappointing to say the least, almost gave a good review, but couldn’t.

I had a Single Room, super comfy with air conditioning, a private bathroom, and a flat-screen TV. The lift made it easy. There were free toiletries, a hairdryer, and even a refrigerator. Really liked the shared kitchen and laundry too. The location's just a short walk from everything, which was awesome!

starria hostel foreign guest only has a fantastic location, just down the hill from the myeongdong shopping area. the rooms were spotless, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. they even transported us to the station when we needed it. overall, a great place to relax and enjoy the area.

However, the noise from a nearby photo booth store was pretty distracting at night, so that was a bummer. Also, the shower could use some work. it had a tendency to flood the bathroom a bit. Otherwise, the place felt cozy and well-organized!

This place was a great match for spending the night in Seoul at excellent value for money. I really appreciated the accommodating staff who drove me to a nearby subway station when I needed it. If you like to cook, make sure to take advantage of the well-equipped shared kitchen.
